make sure the enhanced insert layout app is turned off. half the time this
app undefines the read to end all to gether. i got rid of this app. for me
it serves no purpose.

I hate to jump in her, but Read to End is very quirky both in WLM and IE 11.
Pressing any keywill cause reading to stop and start again, often further
down the page than before. Sometimes, the only way to stop it in IE is to
close IE and try again. Unfortunately, this is very annoying. It happens
randomly and can happen on any page or E-mail. It happens on the Juno Home
page. It seems as if it could happen at any time. Don't tell me to reboot
because this has been happening since I started using the Beta, but it has
become such a nuisance I can't help- commenting on it.

If you haven't rebooted since installing WE 9 I'd suggest doing so. I'm
not saying reboot just because you're having a problem. But a second
reboot after a new installation will sometimes clear up inexplicable
problems.

If it's not working anywhere I'd suggest making sure that the Read To
End hot key is defined under Hot keys, Miscellaneous. It works
everywhere here on W7/64.
