I completely agree. I never understood why this was implemented in the
first place when there was never a problem to begin with. You can always
use the arrow keys for selecting text no matter if it was in browse mode
or not. Either way would work. If it ain't broke, why fix it. Unless I'm
missing something I don't see any benefit this feature brings to
Window-eyes. In fact, judging from all the messages on the list, it
causes way more confusion than anything else.

at least this has, and is still working. the f8 commands has never
worked for me.
i can press f8 at the beginning and end of the text i want and use
copy to clipboard till the cows comes home and it has never worked
with my win7 64 bit computer.
right now i am just trying the f8 commands with notepad.
it will only paste the first line of text, if it even does that.
