I'm sorry, Brian. I don't mean to be gruff, but for the third time, the
method I'm talking about has nothing to do with Drag and Drop, nothing
to do with the Insert-Delete Drag and drop hot key, and nothing to do
with the Dragon Dropped a Plop movie from DismalMe.
1. Route the Window-Eyes mouse pointer to the text you want to select
with the Route mouse to focus hot key, Numpad-Insert-Plus. Use the
numpad mouse navigation keys, i.e. character, word, line, clip, to get
it right where you want to start your selection.
2. Press the Toggle left mouse button, Numpad-Insert-Slash! The Insert
key is on the bottom left and the slash is directly above the number 8
on a standard numeric entry pad.
You should hear, left button down.
3. Navigate to the end of the text you want to select. Press
Insert-Slash again. You should hear, left button up.
4. To check the text you've selected use Control-Shift-M to speak the
highlighted block of text.
5. Press control-C to copy it to the clipboard.
6. Open whatever program you want to paste it into and press Control-V.
If you're using any keyboard layout other than the default standard full
size keyboard, like laptop, Insert key layout, etc. then these hot keys
are probably different. You'll have to open the hot keys node in the
Window-Eyes control panel and see what they're assigned to.
Regards,
Tom

it right, but i feel i have taken up enough of your time. anyway, if you
have read lloyd's message, you will know that there is another way to
save the text from a web site. thanks, anyway, tom.E
