This happens when WLM experiences some issue and has to be restarted. Apparently, the program is trying to redownload a message that was already downloaded. The only thing that you can do is to highlight the message in the message list and hit SHIFT-DELETE. This will force the message to be deleted from the system. You may have to do this with a few messages until the corrupted messages are gone, then you can read mail normally again.

I have a message that if I try to open it I get an error that says an unknown error has occurred with an ok button, if I try to delete it I get the same thing? I’ve already read the message just can’t delete it and can’t open it again either? If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only. If your reply would benefit others on the list and your message is related to GW Micro, then please consider sending your message to [email protected] so the entire list will receive it.
