That will be an interesting test for me. I found that upgrading to Beta 1 cleared up some issues I'd be having with Office on my Win 8.1 machine, but I'm not sure on the web browsing comparison. I had been having serious delays and freezes with Outlook and certain items in Word and Excel when using 8.4 that I do not experience at work on Win 7.
