Just to add to Raul's post below, that often home wireless routers software packages will use the Mac address which is detailed through the message below and will allow or disallow access to a system, regardless of the user having the correct WEP or WPA codes. If the individual owning the wireless system doesn't allow someone to be added, using that Mac address, the device will continue to stay disconnected. The Mac address that is needed will be listed by the router software as a device trying to connect, so locating the correct Mac is not necessary, but security levels that the owner of the wireless designates will determine if this extra step is needed. If someone else has set up your wireless, find out if they have set up this second step.
Hope this extra information helps someone. -----Original Message----- From: Raul A. One is for the lan wired port and the other is for the wireless connection. If you go into help/info you will only see the lan wired mac address. This is not the one to give an isp for wireless access. To get the wireless one, you will have to connect to another wireless network and find the wireless mac address from the network status space-n from the main program menu, or by pressing u then n. Hope this helps.
