I have a feeling that Eudora automatically adds the domain for you if only the username is entered. I have not used Eudora in some time, but I think I remember a qualified domain option in there somewhere so that if the username alone is not enough, then Eudora silently adds the domain name. It's great that it does, but it has the side-affect that the user is blinded by what is really going on with the Email.

Hope this helps.

Hi,
That's interesting.
Why then does it not have to be entered in Eudora.
In Eudora, I just put in the user name.

Hi. I'm glad it's working now. Also, just so you know, regardless of whether you have to enter the first part of the Email address or the entire thing, that is enforced by the isp, not by the Voice Sense.

Many thanks.

It turned out that the VS won't work with my Email account unless I enter the entire Email address where it asks for my user name.

Hi. This is not a problem so I suspect the problem is how the data is being entered. In most cases with Email sending or receiving problems we have seen that it is due to information being incorrectly entered.

I'm not accusing you of not knowing what information to enter, just that sometimes it can be done incorrectly due to switching from grade 2 to ASCII input can sometimes cause issues.

Yes, I have the same trouble with my VS.
I have checked all settings with help desk operators and have never had trouble with any other device in this regard.
I believe they need to look into this.
It just shouldn't be a problem.
