Can anyone outside Australia load this radio station?
If so, would you be interested in helping me to save it in a play list?

Well that's just a bit sad. I know on the face of it the screen
might
seem like a fluffy feature, but people can use it in classroom
situations or as a comunication aid for deaf blind. It also sets
the
sense appart. There are lots of good reasons to like the sense,
but
no other note taker device in it's class has a screen. Where-as
evry
other one has a model that has built in qwerty keyboard. That's
really the only good reason I can think of for building the unit,
and
I'm told by all the business consultants I've ever listened to
that
it's dangerous to follow the pack.

Don't forget that the sense is a relatively new product. Back
when
the blt and the braille note were being developed you couldn't
get
portable keyboards of any stripe. Now of course they abound.
You
couldn't get wireless devices back then either, and of course now
they
are evrywhere.

Eric,
I think I read on this list that there won't be a display on the
units with qwerty keyboard.

Hi Chris, It'll be interesting to see, because the sense is a
bit
narrower than the braille note if memory serves correctly. It
also needs to devote a little rectangle of space on the topface
to
the display screen. I'm not saying it's impossible, just that
it
will be interesting to see how they work it out.

Hi,

I don't know about the qwerty sense product, but the form factor
of the
BrailleNote QT and BrailleNote BT is exactly the same.

Perhaps Raul can comment.

Hi Sharen, I recomend finding yourself something like the
stowaway
bluetooth keybord at a sell phone accessory place or on Ebay.

For myself, I am a bit dubious about the idea of a qwerty sense
because of the extra space it will take. I'd really like to see
them
put the flash drives on top of one another instead of beside,
shrink
the keys down to about a quarter the size, cut the entire unit
in half
length wise, and thin it out a bit. All of which would make it
smaller rather than bigger. Then they could include the bt
keybord as
an accessory, optional or not.

Does anyone know when the qwerty version of the braillesense
