Hi Alex,

I use the bs classic. You can use a single letter to search for a file or folder. Lets say you have a folder named media. You would hit the m until you came to the name you want. Once you hit enter to get into the folder you can do the same thing to find the file you want. I hope this helps. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Alex Hall" <[email protected]>

Subject: [GWN] Manually entering folder- or filenames?

Hi all,
I just thought of something: can you manually type in a folder or file you want, if you know its name, in the File Manager, or do you always have to browse the list? I often find it quicker to just type a name, so I often use three-letter names, like "cos" for computer science or "spa" for Spanish. In this way I can just typethe three letters, hit enter, and be there without having to listen to the folders I am browsing past as I move to the one I want. Just curious if this is possible but too advanced a feature to be covered by the online demos. Thanks.

Have a great day,
Alex
