I find the simplest way to keep my contacts list the same in my VS and PC, is to make all ongoing changes in my PC only and then reload my PC contact list into VS through active sync. The sequence I've followed in the past is to delete the address.dat file from the VS flash disk database folder. Then I backup my settings, revive my VS and restore settings. Then I create a new partnership through active sync and load my PC contact list into VS. My question is, is it necessary to backup my settings, revive VS etc. In other words, is there harm just deleting the existing address.dat file and then just immediately loading in the PC contact list back into VS through active sync? Perhaps there is a knowledge based article on this? Thank you, Steve
