[GWN] Can I turn off short form pronounciations?

Is it possible to turn off the pronounciation dictionary? For example I was 
reading about the boxer Billy Conn and the bs kept pronouncing his name like 
the state connecticut, this is extremely annoying LOL. If you don't know the 
person's name you would just assume it was connecticut because that's what the 
machine said. Personally I'd rather have the option to avoid possible 
confusion. Anyway thought I'd ask.
