This speaking of abbreviation is built directly into the synthesizer so
unfortunately there's no way of turning them off. It's annoying to use
Sense navigation and find out that I'm traveling on Inwood Doctor, but
that's speech for you. I'm glad I have the display to see that it's the
letters d and r.

person's name you would just assume it was connecticut because that's what the
machine said. Personally I'd rather have the option to avoid possible
confusion. Anyway thought I'd ask.
