I'd also like to be able to save records to a text file sorted on one or
more fields.

But as I keep saying, we're dealing here with what is essentially a PDA
and IMO shouldn't therefore expect to have all the bells and whistles
one would have using a full-up PC.

Subject: [GWN] Impromements: The database manager

Hello all, especially the GW Micro team,

I am writing to suggest an improvement to the Braille Sense Database
Manager.

Currently when creating a database one can only upend a new field. There
should be an option to insert new field at current location.

This would allow more flexibility with the database.

For example the fields

First name
Last name
address
City
State
Zip
Home Phone
Cell phone
Work phone
Fax

could be changed to have inserts and now read

First name
Middle initial
Last name
address 1
Address 2
City
State
Zip
Home Phone
Cell phone
Google voice
Work phone
Fax

Any thoughts?

If an infinite number of rednecks riding in an infinite number of pickup
trucks fire an infinite number of shotgun rounds at an infinite number
of highway signs, they will eventually produce all the world's great
literary works in Braille.
