Hi Raul and List, You would think that upgrading to new maps for the Sense Nav. would be free after paying the one time fee for the software. You'd think with it being a part of the Braille Sense that upgrading to the next version of maps would be free, because we don't have to pay to upgrade the Braille Sense to the most current firm ware yet. That's one of the reasons I believe that a lot of people choose to purchase the Braille Sense over other note takers. Plus, they have to pay for expensive SMA's if customers are Jaws users like myself, and have to pay other yearly fees for Bookshare, and other services. So I really hope that Sendaro and GW Micro won't make us pay a fee in order to upgrade the maps for the Sense Nav. Granted, we as consumers have no control over this, so if they do decide to charge us a fee, either we'll have to be forced to pay it, not upgrade, or not use the product. Just some thoughts I have on this topic.
