Hi, Colleen! I've never lent anyone my braille devices! I learned too early in life not to lend anything that can be easily broken. It was the non-working of a crockpot when it was returned that taught me a valuable lesson! I've let people see my devices and with supervision allowed them to get the feel of the equipment!
