Hi Raul.
Thanks for this!
So what are the reason - reasons for it being more prevalent? What are the benefits for conventional computers?
Apologies for this being off topic!
Cheers.
Peter.

Hello. It's not a conspiracy against blind people using
notetakers. It's
generally inaccessible to any pda user, whether it's a blind
notetaker
user or a sighted PDA user.

Many thanks.

Thanks Alex.
So, if AJAX is becoming more prevalent, why?
Is it inaccessible just for pda for people who are blind, what
about
conventional computers?
Best!
Peter.

Again, just tell them that AJAX/DHTML is not supported on your
device and
see what they say. AJAX is an increasingly popular way to
deliver web
content, but they may be willing to at least consider an
alternate site.

Have a great day,
Alex

Hi again Mike.
Very good points.
My "point" is that up until a month ago this site worked really
great with
the VS. So, when they say their site has been upgraded,
improved, not for
the VS. So, if I could say, - - - will help, what is the - - -
They do
seem willing to try!
That's a start!
Cheers.
Peter.

Peter:

I don't know of a simple solution. If the web page designers
are
disinclined to structure their sight for mobile devices, there
is no way
of ensuring accessibility for the BS Plus short of suggesting
that a site
for mobile devices be designed or telling them to stick to
straight HTML.
I suspect they won't be very receptive to that option.
Moreover,
"accessibility" has never meant (at least here in the United
States) that
all devices for the disabled must a accommodated.

Hi Mike.
This pda was able to use that site until they made changes to
it!
Part of the question was is there something to tell the web
designers that may make it accessible again?
There is no mobile equivalent for this site.
Best!
Peter.

I'm afraid you're gonna hear my usual mantra: you're using a
PDA,
not a computer. So unless they have a site for mobile devices,
you're probably S O L.

When I log into the site www.betstar.com.au
and go to put on a bet I get the message
by cannot create xml http instance confirm prompt button"
I hit enter and get the same message. Whatever I do I either
get
the little chime sound or the message repeatedly!
I have been able to use this agency's site really well in the
past they're "tweeking" their site. Is there something I can
suggest to help make this site accessible again?
ar I know it is slightly off topic, however some of the really
sharp
ar techy brains's opinions would be highly valued!
Peter.

arHi, Peter.

arWhen pointing to the storage box (either by using Enter-D to
get
there
aror by hitting Enter-S), you'll see a list of messages. Hit
Enter-A to
arselect them all and then just hit Enter-S again and they'll be
sent off
arin one go.

arIf one has say 2 or more emails in the storage box is it
possible
arto send them off together?
arIf so, how?
arI'm using enter with S, however, this seems to have to be done
arfor individual emails.

arPeter.
