Hi,
Not clear. Have you activated the bs plus for audible, and just having
trouble transferring books?
In any case, to transfer from the pc to the bs plus, you don't need
activesync, so make sure mobile disc is set to on on the bs plus.
If you want to activate your bs plus for audible and can connect the bs
to the internet, you can do it without audible manager.
I never use it, and always copy and paste from the pc to the
braillesense using windows explorer.
For activation, just load a book onto the bs plus using something like
windows explorer.
Next, connect the bs to the internet.
Now, navigate to the book you just loaded on the bs and try to play it.
It won't play of course because the device isn't activated. But, You
will be asked for your audible username and password, so enter them.
Once you do that, the braillesense will automatically connect to
audible.com and activate itself.
The activation is quick and painless that way. Of course you can't
download audible books directly from the audible site to the bs plus,
but I've found that windows explorer copy and paste works very well.
I hope this is helpful.

Hi, everybody.
Just today, I attempted to marry my Braille Sense Plus to
AudibleManager 5.5 on my notebook computer, which still runs Windows
XP Pro. This mission, though, was not successful, and I need to know
why. I imagine this issue has been brought up before, but I don't
remember what solution was arrived at.
I'm running Microsoft ActiveSync 4.5 on this computer, because in
addition to occasionally transferring Audible content to my BSP, I
also synch a pocket PC phone to this system, and Ver. 4.5 is required
for that purpose.
In one sense this works out well, because I have succeeded in synching
my Outlook contacts to the Braille Sense Plus. But whenever I load
AudibleManager, the program starts by alerting me that I should
connect my GW Micro device, even though it's already connected in
reality. Then, if I try to activate, deactivate, or transfer Audible
content, I am told that my device "is either busy or not connected."
Is there an inherent conflict between my Braille Sense Plus,
AudibleManager, and ActiveSync 4.5? If so, then I can simply resign
myself to copying my Audible content onto the SD card I use in the
BSP. But I would love it if someone can come up with a solution which
allows me to automate the transfer process.
Thanks and happy holidays,
-Kane
