If you are using the Voice Sense, you must always connect the USB memory
stick to the dongle because the usb port of the Voice Sense is the mini
and the dongle allows it to convert to a normal type a female port for
the usb memory stick to fit into.

I'm at a loss! Why not use the little pigtail cable which comes with the
Braille Sense Plus or Voice Sense and plug thumb drive into that which
connects to sense product. The thumb drive would then be its own drive and
one can cut and paste documents to it as one would an SD card! Unless I'm
missing something, I'm asking why the PC would need to be involved?
While I have it, how long can an audio file be using default audio settings
in the Voice Sense?

What steps are you taking to do this?
Hook up your unit to the computer. Make sure moble disk is on.
YOu can then copy cut or paste from your braille sense or voice sense to
the computer or from the computer to the machine.
