Actually, the web browser problem you discuss really isn't one of restoring
to defaults; in my experience, at least, it has to do with the fact that
you're trying to go beyond a link and, for some reason, the browser wont let
you. Hit ENTER-G with speech on and you can go on. I know of no way to solve
this with the braille display only.
However, to restore to defaults, press and hold the "forward" button on the
front panel, that is, the right-pointing arrow. While doing this, press the
RESET button on the back. Keep holding in the "forward" button until you
hear the music start to play. then you can let go and you're back to factory
defaults.

Subject: [GWN] Restoring BSP to Factory Defaults
Hi, everybody.
When I went through my initial face-to-face training with the Braille
Sense Plus, I learned a process one can use to take the unit's
software applications back to their factory default settings, thereby
clearing away some internal errors.
I occasionally have a problem in the Web browser, wherein I can't
navigate farther than two or three lines down at a time with the
Braille display. (I prefer to read most content on the BSP without
speech, just using the built-in Braille display.) But when the
display gets stuck on a body of text, the only way I know to fix this
problem and return to factory default settings is to let the battery
literally run to 0 so that when I charge and re-start, the operation
is back to normal. Rather than waiting several hours for this to
happen each time, I want to make it so that I can reposition the
application settings for my browser--or perhaps the whole unit--to
default factory settings immediately, after I've backed up the
elements I want for later use, without discharging the battery.
The manual does not seem to cover this process. Thanks for any help
in refreshing my memory.
