Hi, everybody. When I went through my initial face-to-face training with the Braille Sense Plus, I learned a process one can use to take the unit's software applications back to their factory default settings, thereby clearing away some internal errors.
I occasionally have a problem in the Web browser, wherein I can't navigate farther than two or three lines down at a time with the Braille display. (I prefer to read most content on the BSP without speech, just using the built-in Braille display.) But when the display gets stuck on a body of text, the only way I know to fix this problem and return to factory default settings is to let the battery literally run to 0 so that when I charge and re-start, the operation is back to normal. Rather than waiting several hours for this to happen each time, I want to make it so that I can reposition the application settings for my browser--or perhaps the whole unit--to default factory settings immediately, after I've backed up the elements I want for later use, without discharging the battery. The manual does not seem to cover this process. Thanks for any help in refreshing my memory. -Kane If you wish to unsubscribe from this list, send a message to [email protected] and include leave gw-notetaker in the body of the message.
