Stacy: I don't think .hbl files are used anymore but are maintained in order to achieve compatibility with older versions of the original Braille Sense software. The default document type of my Braille Sense Plus firmware is .brl. I suggest you set yours to that or to .txt. Incidentally, I write these in computer braille code to get them interpreted correctly by the translator.
