Stacy:

I don't think .hbl files are used anymore but are maintained in order to achieve compatibility with older versions of the original Braille Sense software. The default document type of my Braille Sense Plus firmware is .brl. I suggest you set yours to that or to .txt. Incidentally, I write these in computer braille code to get them interpreted correctly by the translator.

Hi all,
What is the difference between h b l and brl? I translated a text file to h b l and it looks different than the same file in text or brl.
Also, what are the advantages of h b l?
Lastly, if I write h b l together the voice sense says blind instead of h b like. I have to put a letter sign in front of each letter. I don't have to do this with brl.
Could this be a bug?

Have a blessed day.
