Hello. I'm not sure what could have caused your voice to change if you
didn't do it. However batteries are warranted for 6 months. It's
possible that your battery and the notetaker are not communicating
properly. You can always try to recalibrate it.
1. Turn off power saving mode.
2. Drain the battery completely.
3. Connect the AC power and turn on the notetaker.
4. Fully charge over night for 6 to 8 hours.
5. Turn on power saving mode if desired.
If you do this, start using it like normal and see if the battery issue
changes.

but the voice itself changed, it became higher even though when I checked
the pitch settings they were still what I normally use. I had to use a reset

Wondering if it's a battery thing? My battery appears to be failing fast, I
don't even get a 15% warning anymore the machine just suddenly repeats the
last character or word and then crashes. The battery isn't a year old and
for the cost of the darn things you'd think one would get more milage out of
them.
