Hi,
The idea here is to reload BSP firmware from ROM image (a clean
one, that is) so that any extras such as this potential issue
would be "gone." for a time.

I'll be curious if that fixes the extra dot issue. I've had to
press the reset more often than I like but have not had to do a
hard reset.

The address book, you are talking about formatting Flash. No,
it
will not, and the address database will still be there.
To perform hard reset, press NEXT button (the right arrow on the
media panel) with the reset button; hod down the NEXT button
until BSP restarts.

Refresh my memory! How would I do the hard reset and I also have
to save my address book before doing so! I'd like it saved on my
