Erik, what do you feel about the keyboard on the BS. I dont feel happy with the
keyboard on BN MPower.
I also hope to have a chance to play with BN Apex.

Hi, I've been recommending braille sense because it had the best hardware
for money. I still like the unit. It has very comfortable braille sells, and
an onboard screen, both of which features I tend to like, and clients find
impressive.

I saw a braille note apex for the first time today and I wasn't disgusted in
the slightest, although I made the lady at the humanware booth work pretty hard
to sell it to me. It gives the current BS a run for it's money in terms of
system spec, but it offers multi-language and multi-synthesizer support, baum
stile sells, and a slightly more compact formfactor than the bs. I still
really like using and training on the braille sense, but after seeing the apex,
I think I'll be looking long and hard at tech specs and user requirements
before I definitively recommend it. A firmware facelift with major
enhancements to email including imap support, multi-language support, and
english stk for open development would go a long way to make bs a contender
again.

I can't really imagine you being unhappy with the sense. It's small and
light as such things are measured. It has braille that feels comfortable to my
fingers. Everyone's taste is different in this regard. You just have to look
carefully at the feature set before you buy and make sure it will do what you
need. For basic notetaker functions it is a great unit, but double check if
you want something more advanced.

  Best,

Hello all. I'm looking for a note taker to replace my Braille & Speak,
which died 2 weeks ago. After doing some reading and research, I feel like
admiring Braille Sense Plus. However I still need some more info about this
product.

I believe there are Braille Sense Plus users on this list, I'd like to get
some advice and opinion from you all. What make Braille Sense Plus better than
other note taker out there? What make you all decided to go for Braille Sense
Plus?

    Thanking you all in advance.
