Hello Tessa. I believe that others have answered some of your questions. However I'll briefly touch on the ones which may not have been answered.
1. Translation. The best rule is to create a text document and type it in Contracted Braille. Using this method, you may not have as many translation issues. However because of the nature of forward and back translation. Your friend Al will now be called Also. Just something to think on. This is not specific to the Braille Sense. 2. The ellipsis is dots-4-6 three times as far as I know. I didn't look at the Bana translation codes, so I may be in error. Many thanks.
