Hello Diane, Bryan made a good point, but he didn't mention that if the
Windows machine already sees the display as a device, then after that
it's up to the manufacturer to support it. So in the case of Windows
Vista and Windows 7 32 or 64-bit, the usb to serial drivers are there
already. Since Window-Eyes sees the SyncBraille as a device, it
communicates with it using the driver for Window-Eyes we wrote. If a
similar driver exists for Jaws for its newer versions 32 or 64 bit, then
it could work with it as well. However unfortunately a high level person
from Freedom said that it didn't make "Business Sense" to support the
Sense products. I believe that Vicky's information was the most
accurate. The SyncBraille was tested with versions 8 and 9 and even 10
of Jaws, but not 11. Because of the way Jaws is handling their Braille
display drivers in 64-bit systems, I don't know when or if this will change.

Many thanks.
