Thanks, got it. All is well now. That's what I get for not checking the manual.

You are correct that mobile disk has to be turned off. Yes, you do have to
install that USB software on the PC. You will find it in the BSP support files
section.

Subject: [GWN] using bsp as braille display

I'm trying to get the bsp to run as a braille display on my wife's pc
running xp sp3. I am using we 7.2 and attempting to connect the bsp via
usb.

I have mobile disk turned off on the bsp. But, activesync comes up on
the pc when I connect the bsp. I thought I had to turn mobile disk off
to use the bsp as a terminal. Am I wrong?

Also do I need to install the small utility from gw the name of which
escapes me at the moment in order to connect via usb?

She normally uses an alva display, but wanted to try the bsp to check
out something. So, it's been quite a while since I tried connecting the
bsp in this way and am probably forgetting something.

Any help?

Thanks,

Don
