*grin* We all ought to collaborate on a good comparison post for when
people inevitably ask how the BSP holds up to the other products. Then
whoever has it handy can post it on everyone's behalf.

To answer your question though, I tested out the Apex and the BSP. The Apex
is sleek, kind of business sporty with its slim design. The BSP is a little
thicker but more rectangular-feeling. I don't know how to correctly capture
the physical comparison. Yet, I think we'd all agree you won't go wrong
with either product.

Hi,
Welcome to this list (sounds familiar?)
For hardware, BSP has vast storage and inclusion of an SD card
slot (same as Apex except that BSP has a CF slot). Compared to
BS original, it has 8 GB of storage and a faster CPU and more
RAM.
As for software, the latest BS firmware and BSP all run under
Windows CE 5.0, so there's not much of a difference between those
two systems. The random freezing is still there, but other than
that, it's the same. No SDK for both at the moment (no more
comment on that).
Hope you learn something (just like I've taught you on the other
list).
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [GWN] Introduction

Hello. I'm Josh Klander, and I have recently joined this list.
I am an apex user, but am interested in learning about the sense
notetakers. A while ago, when my BrailleNote mPower failed, I
got to use a braille sense original, and enjoyed it for the most
part. I have not used a BrailleSense plus. I am wondering what
the major software and hardware differences are between the
BrailleSense original and BrailleSense plus are.
Have a great day.
Josh
