Hello Josh:

If the use of a Compact Flash Card is important to you, go with the BSP! Humanware, in its infinite wisdom, did away with the CF integration in the Apex. I've heard it said that you can purchase a portable card reader with CF reading capabilities. Hmm, sounds too familiar ... being blind means you have to HOG AROUND a trillion items just to read one single line of text!

If being able to use Standard English Braille is your beef, stay with the Humanware product. The BSP in my view falls flat in this regard. It takes joy in INSERTING EXTRA EXTRANEOUS signs in the wrong places and no matter how much you try to fix it ... good luck as your fix will be ignored. Use dots 2-3-4-5 to represent an OPEN OR CLOSE BRACKET for example; in many situations, the BSP contends that these dots DO NOT represent an open or close bracket and it would write out the word WERE as in w-dots 1-2-4-5-6 and E. This makes me go insane when this happens--sometimes, I can't help but get a good laugh! I sure hope this problem has been addressed in the upcoming firmware (and possibly software) release.

If you're looking for good tech support, stay with the BSP!

Sincerely,
Olusegun
