Just out of curiosity, could someone use an SD card to update their system?
Is it a requirement that one use a CF card?

Hi, Eric:

I'm pretty sure you can still get a multi-card reader for prices
ranging from under $20 and up. These readers often have multiple
slots of different sizes. You would just want to be sure that one of
the slots in the reader you get is for cf cards and that the reader
can handle cards of the capacities you have in mind.
