First when you install the 5.5 upgrade, you install the sensenav 2010 program as part of that package. In roder for it to work, you need to purchase a 2010 sensenav key from a dealer such as gw micro, sendero, or whomever you purchased your sense notetaker from. Once you get that key, you need to download the 2010 maps from the sendero site. Now, if you don't want to upgrade to sensenav 2010 at this time, you can download the sensenav 2007 program from the gw site and install it following their instructions. Then, your 2007 sensenav key will work as well as your 2007 maps. There are some huge improvements and enhancements in sensenav 2010 and I would definitely recommend the upgrade. I believe the cost of the upgrade sensenav key is $99, but I may be mistaken on this. It's a bit confusing, but hopefully this will make sense and give you information on which you can make the best decision for yourself.
