Well, list, I'm going to try not to make this a long message,
because we could get really far afield here.
There are people on this list that I pay attention to, because
they've not sent me astray. Don Bishop is one, Mike Freeman, Joe
O, and several others. These particular people always try on
their unit to help figure out what is going wrong.
I don't believe it's totally necessary to have a unit to give
advice, but I've seen some strange instruction given. Many of
you are computer guru's, and are pretty technically minded; some
of us are not.
The other thing I see is when a person asks about something,
they're told to use the PC. Speaking for me, I don't own one.
When I ask a question, I want to know how to use the equipment I
have, rather than being told to use my computer.
I've seen several comments about why people would rather use the
Apex. This is a GW Micro list, and though a little comparing is
fine, a lot of commentary about other products can really clutter
a list.
