Yes, I have copied files onto the cf card after the reformat. I did that via the pc. I don't care about the sense nav files I deleted. They are the old ones from 2007, and I have the new ones and the new key on an sd card as well as stored on my hard drive as an additional back up. I'm just trying to get some use out of what seems like a perfectly good 8 gb cf card. The pc copies files onto it and sees those files. The vs sees the cf card but does not see any files at all. It announces the capacity of the card and free space as the same, so as far as it is concerned, there are n't any files on the card. Perhaps I'll try creating a folder on the pc and moving my word files into the folder and seeing if that does anything useful.
