Two points. First, I always assumed that the little case was for the gps receiver.
Second, I think the point that folks would like to make, including me, is that the cord i9s really, really, really, really short as compared with others. The case is to hold the accessories such as cables or usb sticks. The charger for the Sense notetakers and the BookSense and SenseView CCTV cameras are the same. The only one which is different is the original Braille Sense AC adapter. This one is longer, but is not compatible with any other product. We unfortunately don't have longer AC adapters.
