I must confess that I don't use my GPS everyday as I once did, seeing as they now have the system for calling the stops on the busses here in Indianapolis. But, I do always have it with me, just in case.
I have it readily available, should the GPS on the bus not be working. And, that has indeed happened on several occasions. Also, it comes in handy when I'm in a cab and want to make sure I get off at the correct place. Then, grin, it is indeed very useful when I kind of get off course, so to speak, whenever I'm walking to my destination. And, darn it, such a thing happened just this morning on my way to catch the bus to go to work. I managed to wander into a park downtown here, must have been daydreaming or something, and there was just no one around to ask for directions out of the place. But, with my Sense NAV, as well as listening to the traffic, I got myself out of the thing and back on track. However, I had gone farther into the park than I realized, and thus was a couple of streets over from where I needed to be; thus, the GPS really was a great help. I'm still using the Holux receiver, as it just works so well, even though I do have the newer I-Blue. And, every time I have needed a signal, I have managed to get one within just a minute or two, which has absolutely been wonderful.
