I'm kind of thinking this may have been brought up before; however, since I
mostly use just the VS without the Sync Braille connected, I can't seem to
remember now But, what with having the OnHand now as well, I'm kind of
comparing and looking at both my units a bit. Actually, grin, seeing as the
OnHand is still kind of new for me and I guess I'm kind of taking it slow with
the unit and trying to be extra careful, so I tend to try some of these things
on my Voice Sense and Sync Braille first.

Anyway, I was trying to figure out the best way, or perhaps I should say the
fastest way, to read email when using the Braille display. So, in doing that,
I set the message display time to ignore. And, sure enough, that did stop a
lot of the extra messages and thus make the reading of the email much faster.

But, after I disconnected the Sync Braille from my VS, I couldn't figure out a
way to get my messages to speak again, meaning the voicing of when Bluetooth or
WiFi was turned on or off, or to which view and input grade to which I was
switching the unit, for examples. Now, I have my option settings backed up, so
could easily fix things back; but, were I to not have those backed up and then
leave the house without my Sync Braille and before changing the setting from
ignore to three, is there any way, short of a hard reset, to get those messages
back without having to connect the Sync Braille?
