One thing, is it possible to let me define hot keys to paste specific characters? I'd love to be able to put in an e acute or something by pressing alt something and then the letter e or something like that. Can that be made customizable in the define hotkeys?
One thing that's not very well-known is that some parts of Windows already allow that. You can't do it in Notepad or other editbox-based applications, but anything with a RichEdit does it, and Word does it. Try hitting ctrl-apostrophe and then e, for example. You should get an e with an acute accent (é). You can also use ctrl-double quote (shift-ctrl-apostrophe on a US keyboard layout) to get a diaeresis or umlaut, ctrl-backquote to get a grave accent, ctrl-tilde (shift-ctrl-backquote) to get the Spanish and Portuguese characters with tildes, and ctrl-caret (shift-ctrl-6) to get a circumflex. I'm not sure how to get carons or breves, and now I can't find back where I originally learned about this stuff.
