I agree, the wiki is surprisingly hard to find; I've put the link below.  if
you want to edit anything, you'll need an account on the wiki server.

right now it appears to me we've got a chicken and egg situation: the wiki
isn't placed to be obvious, and so it's not been updated much, and because
it hasn't been updated much, no one is mentioning it as a resource.

I am making an effort to take all the help I've received re scripting and
put it into wiki pages.  once I did that, I was going to start promoting the
wiki here and on the info list on a regular basis, trying to get some new
people interested in scripting.
