Do you mean something more than, say, this:

Aaron,

re the learning curve for the wiki:

Well, some of the resource links given on the wiki for learning how to
format a wiki entry, lead me to pages full of obscure tips and tricks, and
very advanced features, and I found it hard to locate a "beginner's primer"
type of article.

people have been mass-editing wikis for a long time, but I guess not many
blind people have been. I know html 4.0 fairly well, and didn't know the
wiki formatting commands (and still don't).

it would go a long way towards solving this if you were able to locate a
"beginner's primer" and put a link to it on the primary wiki page.

There seems to be a bit more of a learning curve with the wiki for
some reason, so I'd leave the KB as it is. But expanding the focus
isn't a bad idea.

I'm sensing that, but I'm not sure why. Can you enlighten me? People have
been mass editing wikipedia for almost nine years now, so it's not
particularly new technology. And the editor isn't that much more complicated
(some would say less complicated) than your average blog interface.
