Let's take one of the simpler ones namely WeatherCheck which is item 18 of
20 on the list.
Remember, to launch the script hit the combo "ctrl+windows+w"
Once on WeatherCheck, tab once and hit the space bar on the run button.
You will be placed in an edit box where you can enter a zip code, a
weather identifier such as an airport code, or the name of a place such as
Fort Wayne, IN.
anything that is recognized by WunderGround.com, for that matter.
It uses the same identifier system as Aaron's weather script does.
So, fill in, as an example, 46801 and you will receive the forecast for Ft
Wayne, IN -- the home of GWMicro, of course.
It, incidentally, also works for foreign cities. Type YAW and get the
forecast, current conditions, and sunrise/sunset conditions for Halifax,
Nova Scotia, Canada.
TXKF brings you the same information for Hamilton, Bermuda.
Full names work also, ie, Stanley, Falkland Islands brings you the
forecast for Stanley in the Falkland Islands in the far South Atlantic off
the coast of Argentina and less than a thousand miles from Anarctica.
In his heart a man plans his course,
but the LORD determines his steps.
