I just finished a rather large tutorial on using vb.net 2008 with WindowEyes 
for the Blind Programming Community.
I recommend the use of WE with the Visual Studio and related products for the 
exact reason that you guys get it right before you release anything.
Also, with UIA scripting might be allot nicer in that bloody Visual Studio DOM.
