I did look at it once before, hence my earlier message. The CListBlind plugin uses a standard listbox to present this information to you. I do not have the time to revisit this issue, especially since use of CListBlind solves it quite adequately. Again, you or anyone else who feels this to be of particular importance are more than welcome to undertake the challenge.

Steve

steve why don't you take a look at it as well, i am quite new at scripting so might not be able to grasp this one, have you thought of getting the clist blind dll and looking at it? to see what has been done? I know that when using the clist blind dll though if you move through certian things in the options that miranda will crash, also , is there also a way to tell when a person comes on line changes status that window eyes can use?

I tried to find a reliable way to determine a user's status with
the stock Miranda contact list when the scripts were first being
written. What I found was that there is a bitmap next to each
contact's name which indicates whether or not he/she is available.
I was unable to accurately locate and interpret the graphics,
mainly because I couldn't find quite the right minimum and maximum
graphic sizes to help Window-Eyes better track them. Perhaps the
newer iterations of the plugins won't be so obtuse to work with.
You're certainly welcome to take a stab at it.

In the classic contact list how would i make window eyes speak
the status when up and down arrowing when looking at the contact

clist blind mod of the clist classic contact list with out
having to re do the whole dll file for the usage is one of my
    window eyes scripting questions.

        It does not.

if so i have a couple of questions about making a dialog /
contact list pluggin more window eyes friendly.

        Fire away.
