At best, no speech. At worst, Miranda crashes. This control, even though it looks like a list, isn't one. Reclassing causes Window-Eyes to send messages that the contact list can't understand, hence the crash.

CListBlind, again, uses a plain Jane listbox.
can you kind of tell me what you had found out about what accessiblity there isis in the contact list?
