Hi GW, I was wondering if anyone from GW would tell me how window-eyes manages to read a line from a Word document when there is a footnote or endnote in it? in particular, how do you get the footnote or endnote number; it isn't in the object model for the line, and I thought WE didn't use the OSM for Word documents, but used the object model instead?
What I see in the object model is only the positioning indicating a footnote or endnote goes here, and which one (along with it's text), but not it's reference number (since those are constantly recalculated). thanks for any help. Chip
