No, you do not need to remove them. When you add files that already exist, you're prompted to overwrite the existing files.

Also, just to confirm, the only limitation the demo has is the 30 minute timeout. App Central does not restrict usage based on whether or not you're using a demo.

Note that the only file types App Central will accept are Window-Eyes packages (.WEPM files). In other words, you would not try to upload just a VBS or XML file. Also, App Central does not scan your package file to determine what the version is, nor does it automatically increment the version number when you upload a new package. You are responsible for incrementing the version number yourself. You should make sure the version number is unique with each package update in the three places that Chip mentioned: the xml, the package itself, and in App Central.

App Get and Install Packages both get their version numbers from App Central, not the script packages. If you add a package to App Central, and then update it, but don't receive a notification that a new package is available, then you have not incremented the version number in App Central. Finally, if you update any of the text in your app's entry, but do not include a new package, no email will get sent out.

There are two sections in the Window-Eyes App Developer's Reference (Packaging Apps and Distributing Apps) that go into great detail about the package manager dialog and the process of adding/updating apps in App Central. Reading the documentation might help clear up this confusion.

Hi Guys:In PackageManager, when you modify a package, do you manually remove the files from the files to be installed and the associated files list and then ReAdd them? The files are already listed in these controls when I select open and the name of the file NotePad2011.wepm. If that is the case then that could be the root of the problem. Also, I did not remember to change the version numbers in the xml file. There are actually 2, one for the English language block and one for the Norwegian version. Other than that I have done everything as you have noted. The use of the controls in the various dialogs should be fairly standard and do seemingly work as I would expect unless I have to manually remove the vbs and xml files from the PackageManager list of files to include. That would be out of the ordinary in my opinion. I will give this a try again with the comments you guys posted tomorrow or Monday.
have a nice Easter.
