Rick,

You don't have to manually remove the files that are added. All you need to
do is add them again and answer "yes" to the prompt about overwriting them.
Then the file will contain the updated versions. HTH.

Subject: Re: How Can I tell if the vbs is associated with the we file after
PackageManager create?

Hi Guys:In PackageManager, when you modify a package, do you manually remove

the files from the files to be installed and the associated files list and
then ReAdd them? The files are already listed in these controls when I
select open and the name of the file NotePad2011.wepm. If that is the case
then that could be the root of the problem. Also, I did not remember to
change the version numbers in the xml file. There are actually 2, one for
the English language block and one for the Norwegian version.
Other than that I have done everything as you have noted. The use of the
controls in the various dialogs should be fairly standard and do seemingly
work as I would expect unless I have to manually remove the vbs and xml
files from the PackageManager list of files to include. That would be out of

the ordinary in my opinion.
I will give this a try again with the comments you guys posted tomorrow or
Monday.
have a nice Easter.
