GW App Staff:
I just submitted my first app to App Central and got confused over some issues and wording. 1. I did enter a short and long description in the form when preparing to submit my app, EasterDates. However, when I examine the 'general' apps list, as a casual WE user might, I do not see any descriptions, long or short. The entry connected with EasterDates is "No description available." What's with that? That is the same entry as appears in the XML Feed info. Do I need to proof and edit that file too?

2. In checking my profile (in the event a WE user wants to contact me,) I noticed that the security question is one less than what it was when I provided the answer. For example, 'my father's middle name' is David; yet the email confirmation on the profile change shows my pet's name. So, if I'm ever asked the security question: "What is your first pet's name?" I will have to provide my father's middle name. Even after I changed it to another question, the second email confirmation showed the question prior to the one I thought I was answering.

3. wording nits... The documentation makes the distinction between adding a new app and modifying an existing one. Yet, the only button to use to upload any sort of file is an 'update' button. Three things here: A. If there really is a distinction between the two, make two separate buttons to conform to the documentation; or, change the documentation. b. There should be some sort of indication that a .wepm file is expected. At least I think that is what GWMicro is expecting. After all, that's the job of the package manager to 'package' all the files. So, I only submitted the EasterDates.wepm file for upload. I verified the integrity insofar as possible by downloading the EasterDates.wepm file and installing it like a WE apps user would. It is fine! C. I use the capitals on the app name -- EasterDates. Apparently this is not convention as when I called up the 'general' list, EasterDates is listed first, not in expected order. So, should I use lower case in my naming convention?

4. The items on the submission form provide a 'help' (same page link) which goes nowhere. I use Fire Fox v8.0.0.1 and WE7.5.3 on a W7 Pro 64. I examined the entire page and never did see any sort of help or elaboration on any of the items for which a 'help' link appeared. I suspect I did something wrong though I have no clue!

5. After entering the version 7.5 minimum WE version, (I think it was that form entry?) I was presented with a 'cancel' and 'okay' message in connection with a google search box. I have no idea where that came from, but it happened twice in a row. That is, the first time it popped up, I simply left FF and have no idea if the log out occurred. I think so, but I have no proof. The second time I encountered that message while filling out the form for the second time, I simply canceled and made sure browse mode was toggled.

Hope this helps improve a really nice feature.
