Aaron,
Deleting the version still came in handy for when uploading it I first
forgot to look in the correct folder for the latest version. Then a second time
I forgot to change the .xml version number.
So having the delete feature still was needed since I have now uploaded it
3 times today.
What fun it is when not doing this much...
