Hi!
Of course, once again, a flaw in the search feature. I at first checked the
position and used it, but then inserted the phrase into the editbox function.
So I did not place the search start back to 1.
So 2.31 will be posted to fix this issue and the phrase will be found when
searched from line 1 column 1 and not beyond where it was found.
So much for my checking...

Subject: Breaking News 2.3
Hi!
Version 2.3 of Breaking News will be uploaded in a few minutes; once I
package it up.
this addition as I had mentioned below allows you to when reading the web
page in a text box you can also go to the link the text points to. Beneath the
text is a phrase with the name Link= followed by a number. You move to that
line and press either the Alt-End key combo or the Alt-Page Down key combo.
I have changed the hotkey for going to a web page in the edit box. The
hotkey has now been changed from Alt G to Alt End key, the same hotkey that was
used to load the text page originally into the editbox.
Included in this feature is a new hotkey Alt-Page Down, only good when
viewing in the text box like the Alt End key is, but the Alt Page Down key
allows you to save the URL link itself in your Clipboard.
The hotkey Alt-Page Down will pop-up a message box stating the URL has been
saved in your Clipboard and also display the URL.
The viewing and reading of a text page on your local computer now allows
you to go to the link and the name of each link will just be the word Link=#
where # is an assigned key number use to reference a dictionary key value. Each
number is assigned based on it's location on the page and done sequentially and
has no other meaning then just being a key.
NOTE:
This feature does not alter the ability to read a source tag or a link tag
which have the names src= or href= I just added a third option: Link= so there
are now 3 different things the Alt-End hotkey can be used for while in the
editbox.
So, the last thing left to do, besides having a browser back and forward
option is the first actual request of this program, "Alert You Of Breaking News"
So, as long as I don't get side tracked again, I will now work on the alert
feature.

Subject: Re: Breaking News 2.2
Hi!
In the next upgrade for Breaking News I will also place a reference for a
link in the edit box and to avoid cluttering the text it will just have a link
number in the text to fetch from a dictionary. This will allow you to read the
text and go to the URL or video to view the page or video.
I have it working by inserting the link reference and using the Alt End
(Alt G) hotkey, but having that link in the text can run up to 3 lines with
line wrap and also create a big viewing problem, too much information makes
things hard to read.
So, will just place a link number in the text so a hotkey will read that
code and take you to the web page.
All in making the Breaking news easier to use while just inside the read a
page editbox.
My goal is to make a browser type program for easy viewing and navigation,
the ability to look at anything and listen to a video from that page.
So, next update could be tomorrow, I thin it is time to get to bed, 1:15 in
the morning now.
